The Estate Collection, Baldwin's premium line, sets the standard for residential hardware. • All trim and most working parts are manufactured of solid forged brass, precisely machined for strength and lifetime operation. Forgings have 250% greater tensile strength than castings.


• Operation of latch bolt is by handle with thumb piece on the outside, and by knob on the inside. Operation of deadbolt is by key outside, and by turn piece inside.


• Comes complete with the following components:
  • Interior and exterior trim (#6560, as shown in above photograph) in specified finish, including escutcheons, handle, knob, turnpiece, and cylinder collar.

  • Mortise lock case made of heavy-gauge steel and plated with a rust-resistant coating to retard oxidation. Anti-friction, three-piece latch bolt has 5/8" throw. Deadbolt with two hardened steel inserts for maximum security has 1" throw .

  • Key cylinder (#8323) and two keys. Keys have 1-1/4" wide bow surface which makes them easy to turn.
  • Security strike plate constructed of high grade steel for strength and durability, and covered with a finished strike to conceal the fasteners.
• This entry set is equipped with the Emergency Egress function. When you turn the inside knob or lever, both the latch bolt and the deadbolt are retracted simultaneously, enabling you and your family to exit the house quickly in a fire or other emergency.
